Common Questions About Our Pet Services
What should I expect during an initial behavioral assessment?
The assessment is the first step for all services. It gives you and your pet a chance to meet me while I observe their behavior and get a feel for their routine and needs—so everything moving forward is handled the right way.
How are your pet sitting services structured?
Our pet sitting services are flexible and customizable. We offer visits that include feeding, walking, playtime, and lots of love, ensuring your pets feel cared for and secure while you're away. Staying overnight is included as well.
What if my dog pulls on the leash or doesn’t walk well?
That’s very common and depending on the reason (excitement vs reactive) as well as the size of your dog, I can adjust how to walk them. If however, it starts becoming training, I will talk to the owner to re-assess the services.
Can you help with weight management for my pet?
Yes—weight management is approached through routine, activity, and consistency. I help guide healthier habits around feeding, movement, and daily structure, along with incorporating safe, enjoyable exercise for your pet. The goal is steady, sustainable progress—not extremes.
What will my dog learn in obedience training?
Obedience training focuses on teaching clear, reliable commands like sit, stay, recall, and leash manners. The goal is to build focus, consistency, and communication between you and your dog. Training is structured and progressive, with each session building on the last. It’s ideal for puppies or any dog needing a stronger foundation.
Do you offer any guarantees for your services?
I don’t guarantee specific results or timelines because every pet is different, and real behavior change doesn't work that way. What I do guarantee is a consistent, tailored approach focused on real, lasting progress—not quick, unrealistic promises.
Do you offer support for cat behavior issues?
Yes—cat behavior is a huge specialty for me and is often misunderstood, but it’s usually very intentional. I help identify what’s driving issues like litter box problems, scratching, hiding, or aggression. The focus is on reducing stress and creating a more balanced environment so your cat feels secure and settled.
Can you administer medications to my pet?
Yes—I have experience administering medications including oral, syringe, and topical treatments. Care is always done calmly and in a way that minimizes stress for your pet. Just let me know your pet’s routine and any specific instructions ahead of time.
